When you join Nutrition for You, we will provide you with a personalized meal plan based on Manuel’s MV Allowances Method. In the MV Allowances Method, your meal plan is customized according to your age, activity level, resting metabolic rate, dietary restrictions, and goals. Your customized meal plan will prescribe daily allowances of the major food groups, balanced so that you eat nourishing foods and feel full when you eat.

You can eat whatever you like from your prescribed food group Allowances, as long as you are careful to stay within the prescribed portion sizes.

As you continue with your Nutrition for You Plan, you will quickly come to understand what foods, and in what amounts, you should eat to reach your weight loss or weight maintenance goals.

While you progress, you will learn how to understand the consequences of your food choices, internalizing what you've been taught and taking it with you once your goals have been reached.

The Nutrition for You website is an essential daily resource for information, assistance, and motivation as you take charge of what you eat. At Nutrition for You, you will:
